are reportedly set to offer Luka Modric a new one-year contract, despite the Croatian wanting to stay at the Bernabeu for longer. 
The 35-year-old made a telling contribution last season as Real won their first title in three years and having started three of the club's first four league games this campaign, it seems Modric is still firmly in 's plans for one more term at least. 
Modric's current deal runs out in June 2021 and he stated in his autobiography, released earlier this summer, that he feels he has at least two more years left in him at the club he has called home since 2012.
