Scottish crooner Lewis Capaldi has got the green light to build a stunning swimming pool in the back garden of his £1.6m farmhouse.
The Someone You Loved star, 25, lodged plans with East Renfrewshire Council to install a 10m x 5m pool surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows. 
Drawings submitted with the plans reveal the pool will abut the cinema room with views of the back garden.
Separate rooms will contain changing rooms, a spar and a sauna for the pop star to let off some steam in.

Capaldi has carried out a series of renovations to the mansion, News near Glasgow, since he moved out of his parent's Bathgate home in September 2020. 
The complex boasts an extra cottage while the grounds feature a summer house and large terrace.
He told earlier how he is enjoying overseeing works at the home he bought in 2019.
He said: 'I'm getting a lot of work done to it just now.

It's getting renovated, but I'm really enjoying living there.'
Capaldi has already been given permission to convert old stables into an exercise room and a gym.

It will also boast a media room, home cinema, an expanded master bedroom and a new kitchen

Officials have now approved the works at the ten-acre pile that includes a man-made island and bridge.
A council document said: 'The proposal is to create a modern contemporary single storey rear extension to a residential property.
'It is considered to be acceptable in terms of design, scale and materials.'
It added: 'The proposal is not visible from the public road.

In this context, the proposal has no impact upon the local street-scene.'
