Scottish crooner Lewis Capaldi has got the green light to build a stunning swimming pool in the back garden of his £1.6m farmhouse.
The Someone You Loved star, 25, lodged plans with East Renfrewshire Council to install a 10m x 5m pool surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
Drawings submitted with the plans reveal the pool will abut the cinema room with views of the back garden.
Separate rooms will contain changing rooms, a spar and a sauna for the pop star to let off some steam in.

Capaldi has carried out a series of renovations to the mansion, News near Glasgow, since he moved out of his parent's Bathgate home in September 2020.

In this context, the proposal has no impact upon the local street-scene.'
